Racing Incidents

CANNON TEN (P. Sai Kumar) took a fly jump losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

SWEETY GIRL (App. Ajit Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Explanation of Jockey J.H. Christopher (MELODY QUEEN) that he felt something wrong with his horse after traveling about 200 mtrs as such he has slowed down and thereafter pulled up his mount at about the 900 mtrs due to which SILVER CRUISE (P. Ajeeth Kumar) who was racing directly behind him clipped his horse resulting in the fall of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar at about the 1100 mtrs.  Since this confirmed our observation and the incident being purely accidental, the Jockeys explanation was noted. 

Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that MELODY QUEEN (J.H. Christopher) was trotting lame on her right hind due to back sprain.

Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar who was given immediate medical aid, escaped unhurt.

Due to above fall, the running of SARVAGNYA (App. K. Mukesh Kumar) and LAUREL CANYON (App. Deepak Singh) who were racing directly behind got hampered.

App. Praveen Gaddam (PAKAT PAKAT PAKAT) was severely cautioned for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage in the final 100 mtrs of the race.

Explanation of App. K. Mukesh Kumar (SARVAGNYA) that his instructions were to go to front or sit close with front runners but as his mount was slow into stride and also due to interference and fall of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (SILVER CRUISE) at about the 1100 mtrs he was forced to break the strides of his mount and thereafter the mare did not raise a fluent gallop at any stage of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted.
