Soon after the start, EMPEROR RODERIC (P.S.Chouhan) shifted out thereby bumping and forcing RAMBLER outwards onto BUCKLEY (Dashrath Singh) who had to be steadied. Jockey P.S Chouhan has been cautioned.
 
Approaching the 300 meters, PRIDE’S ANGEL (Y.S.Srinath) leaned outwards at the same time BUCKLEY (Dashrath Singh) leaned inwards thereby tightening FORTUNATE SON (Prashant P .Dhebe) racing between them who had to be steadied, thereafter, BUCKLEY (Dashrath Singh) shifted in and went across FORTUNATE SON and PRIDE’S ANGEL. On being questioned, Jockey Dashrath Singh reported that his mount hung - in despite his efforts, as such, Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, Jockey Y.S.Srinath (PRIDE’S ANGEL) reported that his mount hung-in, in the straight despite his efforts, Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures  before next accepting  to race.
 
After the race, Jockey P.S.Chouhan (EMPEROR RODERIC) reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race despite his efforts and stated that his mount was not striding out freely, as such, the colt was subject to veterinary examination. After the race, EMPEROR RODERIC was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O at the stables on 25th December and was found to be sore by its left fore, as such, the colt has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, PYRRHUS was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O and was found to be sore by its left hind, as such, the filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

After the race, PRIDE’S ANGEL was trotted and was found to be sound.
