Racing Incidents
BASTIAN BAY (Suraj Narredu) was very fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was questioned regarding the relatively poor performance of his charge SOUTHERN CHIEFTAN (B. Prakash) in the above race and his expla- nations were noted. LORD OF ILLUSION (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. S.Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
