Jockey Indrajeet Singh, the rider of SANS FRONTIERES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out SALZBURG (P.S. Chouhan) on his outside rounding the final bend.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUPER START, reported that his mount ran out passing the 900 Metres despite his efforts to keep it on an even course. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey John, was questioned regarding the handling of his mount AYRTON in the presence of Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar in the above race. The rider stated that (a) he took a good jump and his mount took little time to warm up; (b) As he started accelerating passing the 900 Metres Suraj Narredu on SUPER START from inside suddenly swerved out thereby taking him out; (c) Therefore he was committed to run on the outside of the field; (d) Little later even the horse on the inside viz. SALZBURG (P.S. Chouhan) started coming out, he had no option but to travel on its outside passing the 600 Metres; and (e) Under the circumstances he did his best in riding out his mount but could finish only Second. The trainer while corroborating the statement of the rider added that under the circumstances he would give the benefit of doubt to Jockey S. John at this instance. While noting their explanations Jockey john was cautioned to be more judicious in the handling of his mount in future.

SUPER START (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ROCK WITH U.
