FORTUNATUS (Hindu Singh) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey Inayat, the rider of TWILIGHT TORNADO was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing FORTUNATUS (Hindu Singh) on his outside passing the 600 Metres.

An enquiry was held on 18th June, 2023 by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of DEFINING POWER in the above race. In that he shifted 'in' sharply and caused severe interference to OPUS ONE (S. Saqlain) on his inside approaching 600 Metres.

Jockey Rajesh Kumar M was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Rajesh Kumar M and after viewing the CCTV replay decided to charge Jockey Rajesh Kumar M for Careless Riding.

The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Rajesh Kumar .M from 1st July, 2023 to 2nd July, 2023 (Both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount DEFINING POWER (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
