Jockey F. Norton, the rider of MARZGOVEL reported that he did not get a clear run between the 450 Metres to 400 Metres.

Jockey Siddaraju.P, the rider of STAR CONCEPT was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to THE PERFECT CHOICE (A.R.Pradeep) on his inside passing the 200 Metres.

Jockey Vivek.G, the rider of PNEUMA reported that his mount stopped galloping in the final 150 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey S. Hussain, the rider of RICARDO was fined Rs.3,000/- for not maintaining a proper course in the final 150 Metres, whereby he allowed his mount to drift out and took out the horses on his outside viz; PROPHECY (L. Alex Rozario) and MARZGOVEL (F. Norton).

An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Tousif Khan, the rider of FOUR WHEEL DRIVE in the above race. 

In that he shifted 'in' and caused severe interference to ROMAN SPIRIT (Y. S. Srinath) who had to check his mount and shift out, thereby causing interference  to MARZGOVEL  (F.  Norton),  which  in  turn  passed  it onto CLASSIC CHARM (Darshan R.N) approaching 800 Metres.

Jockey Tousif Khan was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Tousif Khan and after viewing the CCTV replay decided to charge Jockey Tousif Khan for Careless Riding.
 
The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Tousif Khan with effect from 21/2/2024 to 16/3/2024 (Both days inclusive) as had he pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount FOUR WHEEL DRIVE (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of THE PERFECT CHOICE, trained by Mr.Warren Singh and ridden by Jockey A.R.Pradeep in the above race.
