Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Saddam Iqbal to declare A Ayaz Khan, to ride DESERT STORM in place of Jockey G.Manikandan who was indisposed and could not fulfill his riding engagements for the day.

GLORIOUS EVENSONG (C Umesh) ran detached. The Club's Veterinary officer when asked to examine the colt reported that no abnormalities were found. Trainer J.Sebastian was informed to ensure better performance of his horse before next accepting with it.

Jockey S.A.Gray, the rider of KING LOUIS was fined a sum of Rs.1000/- for shifting in forcing in STILL I RISE (Yash Narredu) passing the 300 metres.

Jockey D S Deora, the rider of CHAPOSA SPRINGS was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for shifting out immediately after the start forcing out KING LOUIS (S.A.Gray).Further the Jockey was severely cautioned for taking a considerable lead from the 1000 metres till the 850 metres for no apparent reason.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner KING LOUIS (S.A.Gray).
