ATTITUDE (Akash Rajput) was examined at the starting gate and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was lame on left fore, hence it was withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders. Trainer S Ali Khan was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

AN (Bhanu Partap Singh) planted in the starting gates, refused to take practical part in the race. In view of its behavior Trainer A Saulez was informed not to accept with his charge until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Danish Ali Khan the rider of AWESOME KNIGHT reported that his mount  refused to raise a fluent gallop and running detached from the field.  Trainer K Ali khan was advised to ensure that his charge was capable of running with the field in future.

Jockey Md Habeeb the rider of JHILMIL reported that his mount threw it’s head awkwardly while jumping out of the starting gate.

Trainer S Nawab and Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal were called in and questioned regarding running and riding of SHAUGHNESSY.  The Trainer stated that he had instructed the Jockey to take a good jump and position 3^rd/4^th and to do his best on entering on straight. The trainer further opined that the jockey had totally ridden contrary to his instructions. When questioned Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal stated that after jumping out his mount without any encouragement led the field on his own and did not want to disturb its rhythm, hence he permitted it to stride on its own. When further questioned regarding his riding style in the straight , Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal explained the gelding has a short sprint, hence he did not ride out till such he was challenged by other runners. Not being satisfied with their explanations they were reported to the Stewards. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed trainer S Nawab and Ramandeep Singh Bal. After hearing their statements, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and after due deliberations they decided to fine Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal a sum of 10,000/- for the unsatisfactory riding on his mount SHAUGHNESSY and severely warn trainer S Nawb for future running of his charges.

Urine sample was taken from the winner SEAHORSE in the presence of  Trainer K Ali Khan  and was sent for analytical test.
