Racing Incidents

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Sreekanth, the rider of HAGGLER to the Stewards for contravention of the Calendar Notification under the heading ‘Use of Whip’ on his mount HAGGLER (3rd infringement) in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 20th July 2011 and examined Jockey S. Sreekanth. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey’s licence granted to Jockey S. Sreekanth from 30-7-2011 to 31-7-2011 (both days inclusive) for contravention of the Calendar Notification under the heading ‘Use of Whip’ on his mount HAGGLER (3rd infringement) in the above race (permitted to ride work).
