Racing Incidents

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath for contravention of Rule No.114(b)(i) in that he had not properly fastened the bandage on the hind legs of EUROPA (Janardhan Paswan), as a result of which, the bandage on the right hind came off considerably soon after the start and the bandage on the left hind was loose and the horse ran with the right hind bandage dangling throughout the Race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last Race and examined Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath. After deliberations, they decided to fine Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath Rs.10,000/- for his negligence in the discharge of his duties as a Trainer in not fastening the bandage on the hind legs of EUROPA (Janardhan Paswan) in the above Race, thereby, contravening Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing.

Jockey S. Mubarak, the rider of WHITEWARRIOR, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
