As Jockey Sarvan Kumar, the declared rider of CHANDINI, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rakesh to substitute Jockey Saddam Hussain to ride CHANDINI in place of the declared rider.

WHY SHOULD I (M Prabhakaran) was fractious on the way to the Starting Gates, dropped the rider and bolted. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.

Trainer Mr. Nikhil M Punna was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, SPIRITOFCHARTWELL (Irvan Singh). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of HECTOR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to GUAPO (P Kiran Rai) on his inside, passing the 700 Metres.

Jockey A Ashok Kumar, the rider of GO MAN GO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to CHANDINI (Saddam Hussain) on his outside, which, in turn, passed it onto BROWN PANTHER (N Ramesh Kumar), on its outside, passing the 300 Metres.

HECTOR (Arshad Alam) sustained small cut on right hind cannon.
