DEMANDING FORMAT (V R Jagdeesh) took a fly jump, at the Start.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards ordered and held an enquiry immediately after the Race as Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of ARRETE, placed Fourth by the Judge, failed to 'Weigh in'. They examined the Jockey concerned. After deliberations, they decided to disqualify ARRETE (M Rajesh Kumar) for the above Race and revised the order of placings as under:

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of ARRETE, for contravention of Rule No.101(ii) [negligence or neglect in the performance of duties as a Licensed Professional], in that, after the Race, as a rider of ARRETE, place Fourth by the Judge, Jockey M Rajesh Kumar failed to 'Weigh in'; The Stewards held an enquiry after the last Race and examined Jockey M Rajesh Kumar; After deliberations, they decided to fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for contravention of Rule No.101(ii) [negligence or neglect in the performance of duties as a Licensed Professional]. He was further informed to be more cautious and that a repeat of a similar manner of offence would be dealt with more severely by them in future.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of dk b g GELIGNITE, trained by Mr. C D Monnappa and ridden by Jockey Arshad Alam, in the above Race.

SKY JET (Anil Baandal) sustained cut injury over right shoulder.
