TOP RANK (A R Pradeep) reared up as the Gates opened and lost few lengths at the Start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

HERE I COME (R Shiva Kumar) jumped awkwardly inwards, thereby inconveniencing DIVA IN GOLD (Prabhu Kumar M) on its inside, at the Start.

Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of ROMANTIC HEART, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing COUNTRY’S TALENT (Vivek G), on his inside, passing the 1100 Metres.

Jockey Angad, the rider of FIFTY GRAND, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to PININFARINA (M Shahid), on his inside and thereafter, for further shifting in and causing interference to COUNTRY’S TALENT (Vivek G), on his inside, between the 500 Metres and 400 Metres.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, a Stewards’ enquiry was ordered and held, with particular reference to the Start of the Race, wherein TOP RANK (A R Pradeep), which was the favourite of the above Race, reared up simultaneously when the Start of the Race was effected. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Starter Mr. Kiran M and the handler in charge of the horse inside the Starting Stalls as well the rider of the horse, Jockey A R Pradeep. After due discussions and after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the above race, the Stewards decided not to alter the Judges’ Placings of the above Race.

There were two Objections lodged in the above Race. The first Objection was lodged by Jockey Shreyas Singh, the rider of RAPTOR, placed 4th by the Judge, against Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of ROMANTIC HEART, placed 2nd by the Judge, for “inside the final 100 Metres, the rider of horse No. 10, ROMANTIC HEART took me out, whereby I had to check my horse and lost few strides, which cost me a certain Place”.

The Second Objection was lodged by Jockey A K Aniket, the rider of MYSTICAL MERLIN, placed 3rd by the Judge, against Jockey A Ramu, the rider of ECO SYSTEM, placed first by the Judge, for “at 600 Metres, when my horse was galloping straight, the winner (ECO SYSTEM) checked and also at 300 Metres he bumped me, I did not get a clear run, where I had to switch in which cost me a certain Race”.

The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned, viz., Shreyas Singh and M Rajesh Kumar for the first Objection and A K Aniket and A Ramu for the second Objection. After due deliberations and after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the above Race, the Stewards decided to Overrule both the Objections. Further the Stewards decided that both the Objections were frivolous in nature and decided to fine Jockey Shreyas Singh and Jockey A K Aniket, a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, for lodging a frivolous Objection.
