As Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider of GINTOKI, failed the pre-race breathalyzer test, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monappa to substitute Jockey Shreyas Singh to ride GINTOKI in place of the declared rider. 

D DEAR (Amyn Merchant) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start.  In view of its behavior, Trainer, Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race Day on the Race Track.

IBRAHIMOVIC (Mohammed Mushraf) jumped awkwardly `outwards’.

Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of FERRETTI was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting `in’ and causing interference to BENGHAZI (Angad) on his inside passing the 150 meters.
 
WINTER STORM (M Rajesh Kumar) sustained small cut on left hind outer cannon.

Jockey Angad, the rider of BENGHAZI, placed third by the Judge, lodged an objection against Jockey, Y S Srinath, the rider of FERRETTI, placed first by the Judge, for "inside the final 100 metres, the winner, FERRETTI came into me sharply where I had to stop riding which cost me a certain race. 

The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After due deliberations and repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the race the Stewards decided to overrule the objection.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of GINTOKI, to the Stewards for breach of Rule No. 101 (iii) read with Calendar Notification of the Racing Calendar of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., Rules of Racing, under the heading “ALCOHOL TESTING FOR RIDERS”, in that, he failed the pre-race Breathalyzer Test. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the last Race and examined Jockey Arshad Alam. 

After due enquiry a nd after noting that this was the second infringement of the same offence by Jockey Arshad Alam, in a span of one week, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey’s License granted to Jockey Arshad Alam from 14-10-2023 to 29-10-2023 [both days inclusive] for breach of Rule No. 101 (iii) read with Calendar Notification of the Racing Calendar of the Mysore Race Club Rules of Racing, under the heading “ALCOHOL TESTING FOR RIDERS” & fined him a sum of Rs.25,000/- [Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only] for misbehaving with the official in-charge of Alcohol Testing. Jockey Arshad Alam was informed that he can ride work and was also informed of his right to appeal.
