Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge BRAHMAPU- TRA. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge PASTICHE. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey D. Gnaneshwar the rider of VIJAYRAAJ to the Stewards for contravention of Calendar No- tification under the heading "use of whips" in that he excessive- ly used the whip on his mount in the above race (3rd infringe- ment). The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey D. Gnaneshwar. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey D. Gnaneshwar from riding in races from 18-6-2008 to 19-6-2008 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading `use of whips` in exces-
