Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, SPREAD A SMILE (N Tauseef Ahmed). Subsequenly, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
SPREAD A SMILE (N Tauseef Ahmed) planted and lost many lengths at the start and ran detached from the field thereafter. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.
Jockey B Sreekanth the rider of RISING QUEEN was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to LANCASHIRE (K Anil) on his inside, approaching the 1200 Metres.
Jockey A Velu the rider of DARK HORSE was fined Rs.2,000/- for not making sufficient effort to improve his position from the 1000 Metres. SPARK OF NAPOLEON (R Umesh) - Was slowly away.
SPREAD A SMILE (N Tauseef Ahmed) - Planted and lost many lengths.
