Racing Incidents

VIGOROSO (B Sreekanth) was extremely fractious, reared up awkwardly and was stuck in the Starting Gates for a considerable period of time. On examination it was found to have hurt itself. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S Rajesh the rider of DEFINITE BELIEVE was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘in’  and causing interference to NISHI GIRL (Mohammed Shoaib), which, in turn, passed it on to SUGAR GOLD (Afsar Khan), approaching the 700 Metres.

Jockey N Tauseef Ahmed the rider of MUCHO was fined Rs.1,000/- for dropping hands in the final 100 Metres for no apparent reason.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b.h. DEFINITE BELIEVE.

HAKUNA MATATA (C Krishnan) Was slowly away.

MUCHO (N Tauseef Ahmed) Was slowly away and lost about two lengths.
