Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu to withdraw HAMPTON COURT (A Vishwanath) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting stiff on both fore legs and sore back. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Ajeet Kumar, the rider of BORN TO RACE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing interference to CURRENT RAY (R Vaibhav) on his outside before passing the Red Marker Post.

Jockey Ajeet Kumar, the rider of BORN TO RACE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to CURRENT RAY (R Vaibhav), on his inside approaching the 800 Metres.

Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of CURRENT RAY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (first infringement).

It was reported after the Race that the left fore shoe of SWIFT STAR (F.K. Shahbuddin) had apparently splayed during the Race.

SWEET SURRENDER (Mudassar Nazar) sustained injury on right fore inside fetlock.

STAR PRESENCE (Vinod Shinde) sustained linear injury above left hock.
