Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for accepting his charge b g PABLO NARUDA to run in this race against the post treatment advice of the Sr. Veterinary Officer of the Club.  Subsequently the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn.

ANGELS QUEST (B Sreekanth) was fractious inside its stall.

RITHAMBHRA (Janardhan Paswan) was slow to begin.

Jockey Sk Zaffar Riaz, the rider of FANKAAR, when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount which was observed to be running detached from the field in the early stages of the race and to make good progress in the home stretch, stated that he was instructed to be alert at the start and place his mount in 3^rd/4^th position in the early stages of the race and thereafter to do his best.  However,  on jumping out from the gates the gelding had shown a lack of early speed and hence he was unable to follow the trainer’s instructions.  The Stipendiary Stewards after reviewing the running of the race on the CCTV and not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by the rider decided to fine him a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for the unsatisfactory riding of his mount in that he made no effort to position his mount as instructed by the trainer in spite of having every opportunity to do so and further for the tender handling of his mount in the final stages of the race.  He was further informed that similar manner of riding in future would entail him to severe disciplinary action.

The Veterinary Officer reported that CHHUNDU returned with a cut injury on its right fore.
