Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge, SILVER SCEPTRE (N Ramesh Kumar) [first infringement].

SILVER SCEPTRE (N Ramesh Kumar) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.

Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of TIME FLIES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to HERCULEAN (Ajeet Kumar), on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.

It was reported after the Race that TIME FLIES (R Vaibhav) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

BORN FOR BEAUTY (M Prabhakaran) sustained cut on right fore cannon.

KNOWLEDGE (A Vishwanath) sustained cut injuries on right hind pastern.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m BORN FOR BEAUTY.

The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., considered the analytical report received from Equine Forensic Unit Dubai, pertaining to the analysis of the urine sample taken from b m BORN FOR BEAUTY (Trained by Mr. J Sharavanan) which had shown the presence of Hydroxy – Lignocaine (prohibited substance) – the sample of which was taken after the said horse was placed First in the above Race.

The Stewards noted the following:

The Trainer vide his letter dated 27th January requested the split sample of the urine of the said horse be sent to the Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques, France for confirmatory analysis. Accordingly, the split sample of the urine of the horse was sent to the said laboratory for confirmatory analysis. The Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques, France, vide its report dated 10th February 2014, received by us on the 13th February 2014, confirmed the presence of the drug Hydroxy – Lidocaine in the split urine sample of the horse b m BORN FOR BEAUTY. The above result has been communicated to the Trainer concerned.

Therefore the Stewards decided to disqualify the horse from the above Race and revise the order of the placings as under:
