b g ROMAN CENTURION, an acceptor in the above race was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Friday, 14^th February, 2014 and found to be lame on right fore.  Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.  Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

LE CHOCOLAT (Mohit Singh) was fractious in its stall.

IJLAL (App Jorawar Singh, drawn 9) received severe interference as the start was effected when CEE FOUR (Gajender Singh, drawn 8) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ from the gates and thereafter for some distance refused to raise a fluent gallop.

NOBLE DEFENDER (App Md. Javed) was observed to gallop three horses wide off the running rails for a major portion of the race.  Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with his charge again.

Jockey Afzal Khan, the rider of WORDS and Jockey Mohit Singh, the rider of LE CHOCOLAT, were fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for the excessive use of the whips on their respective mounts (2^nd offence).
