As Jockey P S Chouhan, the declared rider of LIGHT OF MAGIC, could not arrive to fulfil his riding engagements for reasons beyond his control, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Ganapathy to substitute Jockey A Imran Khan to ride LIGHT OF MAGIC in place of the declared rider.
 
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rakesh to substitute Jockey Nitin Singh to ride OCEANIC STORM in place of Jockey Ryan Marshall, the declared rider.
 
Jockey S John, the declared rider of EMPEROR CRUISE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not making the declared weight at the scales; Subsequently, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao [deputizing for Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar] to substitute Jockey V R Jagdeesh to ride EMPEROR CRUISE in place of the declared rider.
 
Jockey P P Dhebe, the rider of SEVEN OF HEARTS, was reprimanded for shifting 'out' and inconveniencing OCEANIC STORM (Nitin Singh) and PHELPS (Mohammed Mushraf) on his outside, before passing the Red Marker Post.
 
Jockey K Raghu, the rider of NEW EMPEROR, reported that his mount drifted 'out' very badly in the straight and finished the Race in the outer sand track; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda was informed to take appropriate corrective measures and not to accept with it again until its behaviour improves to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race day on the Race Track.
 
It was reported after the Race that PHELPS (Mohammed Mushraf) burst its blood vessels; Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
 
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of NEW CROWN reported after the Race that on his way back to the Paddock, he observed that the trotting action of his mount was suspect. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.
