Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rakesh to withdraw SAVANNA SOUND (M Bhaskar) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be walking lame on right hind due to muscular stiffness; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
 
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar [being deputized by Trainer Mr. M Bobby] to withdraw MILLROSE (S Antony Raj) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to have sustained injuries on forehead, neck,left hip and left hind fetlock during its travel in the Horse Float; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S John, the rider of SHINING MAGIC, reported that his mount drifted out very badly in the straight and  despite his best efforts to correct his mount and despite changing the whipping hand, his mount ended up galloping on the outer portion of the Race Track. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Clubs Veterinary Officer reported as follows;

This is to report that bay rig “SHINING MAGIC” 4 yrs old under the charge of Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar, was impounded for veterinary examination after the above mentioned Race. On examination, SHINING MAGIC was found to have sharp molars and fresh multiple injuries inside the mouth. The endoscopic examination revealed Grade IV EIPH (Excessive pooling of blood in the trachea). Accordingly, the horse would be on Veterinary Ban for 4 weeks.

Subsequently, Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st Infringement). He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
