Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan to withdraw ASCENDENCY (Y S Srinath) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to have sustained injury inside right hind hock with infected cellulitis. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

As Jockey Saddam Hussain, the declared rider of DANCING BLUES, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Third Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C Girinath to substitute Jockey Irvan Singh to ride DANCING BLUES in place of the declared rider.

After a thorough enquiry with Trainer Mr Ranjeet Shinde and Jockey Md. Sameer into the running and riding of b f SKYFULLOFSTARS in the above Race, it was decided to; (a) fine Jockey Md Sameer Rs.5,000/- for the inept handling of his mount and also fine him a sum of Rs.5,000/- for the unsatisfactory explanation tendered by him during the enquiry and to caution him that a repetition of a similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate disciplinary action; and (b) Note the explanation tendered by Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde.
