Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to withdraw SUNLIT PATH (B R Kumar) on veterinary grounds as it sustained bleeding injury on left hind coronet while travelling from Bangalore Turf Club to Mysore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

THE BLISSFULELYSEE (M Naveen) reared up, fell down and hit its head very badly to the ground while rolling inside the paddock and thereafter succumbed to the head injury in the paddock.

Jockey Prabhu Kumar M, the rider of STONE HOUSE was reprimanded for taking an unduly long lead right from the Start till 400 metres of the race.

DOUBLE VISION (Abhishek Mhatre) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

The Stipendiary Stewards questioned Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas for the reversal of form and the resultant improved performance of his charge, SEA DIAMOND (P Sai Kumar), the winner of the above Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 17 of the Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2024, run on Third Day, Thursday, 12th September, 2024, when ridden by the same rider, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows; a) This horse has run under his charge four times, all in different distances. Prior to that, under Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah’s charge, this horse had won a mile race; b) This horse had not shown its true potential when it ran four times under him, including its previous run in Mysore over five and a half furlongs; c) Because of this reason, he had tried running this charge in various distances, but to no avail and hence on the advise of his rider, who was also working this filly in the morning, he decided to try it over a mile; d) In this race, he had instructed his rider to take a good jump and sit well up with the Pace and to ride out in the Straight. His rider rode accordingly and eventually just about won the Race. Not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas, the Stipendiary Stewards decided as follows;

a)    To fine Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) for the reversal of form and the resultant improved performance of his charge, SEA DIAMOND (P Sai Kumar), the winner of the above Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 17 of the Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2024, run on Third Day, Thursday, 12th September, 2024, when ridden by the same rider, it ran unplaced;

b)    Caution him to be more consistent in the running of his charges in future, failing which he shall be reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.
