WHAT IS THIS (M Rajesh Kumar) planted and lost many lengths at the Start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Ramesh S was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on Race Day on the race track.

ROMAN EMPEROR (Prabhu Kumar) planted, thereafter, veered `out’ towards the outer sand track taking no practical part in the race; In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on Race Day on the race track.

Jockey M Chandrashekar, the rider of ELEVADO, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not being alert at the Start, thereby losing some ground and thereafter, for not making sufficient effort to ride out his mount, in the straight.

Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider of VIJAYA BRAVE was fined Rs.3,000/- for riding an indifferent Race.

COUNTRY’S FIRE (S Imran) drifted out alarmingly in rounding the final bend and thereafter ran detached from the field; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of KNOTTY METHODS reported that he accidentally dropped the whip passing 300 metres.

Trainer Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs. 5,000/- for discrepancy in shoeing with respect of his charge, ELEVADO (M Chandrashekar), in the above Race [1st Infringement].

The Stipendiary Stewards questioned Jockey A Ramu, in the presence of his trainer, Mr. Ganesh J pertaining to his riding on his mount THE WELCOME, trained by the latter, in the above Race. Not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by them, the Stipendiary Stewards decided as follows;

a) To fine Jockey A Ramu a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) for riding an indifferent Race, in that, for not making sufficient effort to improve his position during the early stages of the race and for travelling wide in the back stretch, for no apparent reason and thereafter for not making sufficient effort to ride out his mount, in the straight;

b) Jockey A Ramu was informed to be more judicious while riding his mounts in future, and that a repeat of a similar manner of riding in future, would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action;

c) To fine Trainer Mr. Ganesh J, a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) for the unsatisfactory explanations tendered by him during the Enquiry.
