Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, OVER SHADOW (J Paswan). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.

Trainer Mr. G Srinivas Babu was questioned into the relatively improved performance of ZIDAAN (Shiva Kumar), the winner of this Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 145 of Mysore Races 2015, i.e., The Royal Western India Turf Club Ltd. Trophy - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over run on Eighteenth Day, Sunday, 18th October, 2015, when ridden by Jockey Shammi Khan, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows; a) This horse was running after a gap of 45 Days; b) In its previous run ridden by Jockey Shammi Khan, had it not received a check in the last 150 Metres, he would have finished fifth; c) He had not fancied this horse; d) Its previous run was with Bangalore based horses where it ran suggestively; In this Race, the company was poor with only Mysore based horses; e) His charge gradually came down in handicap in the last four outings and today, he declared a rider claiming 4 Kgs allowance; f) He had been running this horse very sparingly as it had a problem with one of its joints; g) In view of the reasons stated herein, it might have won the Race; His explanations were noted.

It was reported after the Race that GUNPOWDER (S Chethan Kalay) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

GREYCONNECTION (R Anand) sustained deep clipped injury on right thigh.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g ZIDAAN.
